Well the phoenix was rendered in Apopphysis and the terrain was done by Angel. And then a lot of editing.

Maybe resize the image down to about 2/3 of what it is now, and give it a sharpen? Just a suggestion - it'd make it seem more high quality (right now its got a slight blurry/roughness to it)
Love the phoenix though - I see a small beak even

I should downsize it, but the preview here really messes it up, if you hit the download and view the big file, you see a lot more detail. I'm glad you liked the phoenix, I'll put up a making up soon. The phoenix base was rendered in apop, I cloned and erased it so it looked like a bird.

Well, apo rendered me a good base which I thought with some cloning and erasing I could of made it into a fire bird/phoenix.
