Description This extinct species of Carnivoris marsupial was wiped out in the 1930s when they were killing life stock. Interestingly enough both male and female thylacines have pouches for their babies.

I think my favorite marsupial is the sugar glider. It looks like a rodent, and it's very small.

I think this marsupial that I painted is my favorite because it looks unique to me. Talk to you later mate.

Actually, as I recall, they were accused of killing livestock, sheep to be exact.  There was little to no evidence that the thylacine actually committed such a "crime".  BTW, the pouch faces the hips not the chest, like herbivorous marsupials.  Other than that minor inconsistency, this drawing is fantastically correct.

You're quite welcome.  However, I must admit that I learned that little tidbit from another artist, Rick Griffin, when he drew a character sheet for a female thylacine who makes an appearance early in one of his comics.  Since she was an anthro thylacine, several readers were deciding how the "upside down" pouch would work.  I finally came up with the idea that as the thylacine anthropomorphized, a second pouch evolved.  This one facing upward to allow the joey(?) to be carried "normally" until it was big enough to handle staying in the normal pouch.
