So incredibly cute. Nose nuzzle champions indeed! Somewhere in the background, Gerson's groaning, "Not again...".

I'm such a sucker for these two. They were so good together and by the end of the game, it's like they're an entirely different couple! They went from absolutely head over heels for each other to a veeeery one-sided "friendship". It saddens me so much... ;3;

I know right °w° Actually, I really think that Toriel can't hate Asgore that much, she's not that bad! I mean, I can understand she was upset and all, but I believe she's smart enough to accept her own mistakes and perhaps forgive Asgore someday <3 Stay determined!

fearanger In reply to LoumunVersen [2016-09-22 22:13:13 +0000 UTC]
YES! EXACTLY! She of all people wouldn't be able to hold a grudge like that for so long for such a petty reason. I mean, I understand everything she went through (not personally mind you good god o3o), but she should be smart enough to know that Asgore did all that out of fear for his people, so that they didn't lose hope. Besides, after what they went through, room for logical thinking must've been pretty occupied at the time.
Sorry for the rant, I just really love the Dreemurr family, they're so well done... X3

Yeah! I can imagine they were both acting on stress and tensed demeanor. After they both cool down, I think they could talk and sort this out. And then be together again because Toriel would understand Asgore didn't have much of a choice °w°
Haha, don't apologize, I love to share opinions ^w^

And thank you very much! I loved making this picture ^^

So beautiful. I really like this more goat-dragon interpretation of them you have done. It really makes them look closer to Toby's vision (fantastic creatures out of a children's fable) rather than the usual fandom route (ie: just anthro goats). Awesome!

Hm... Asgore declaring war on the humans in a fit of anger/grief and murdering up to 6 human child for the sake of breaking the barrier ^^'

Well tbf...
1. The only indication that there were *any* children among those humans was the bearer of the toy knife (and that one fell in the Ruins where Asgore avoided going leading us to question who and how that death happened) . The rest of the items described older subjects, young adults.Furthermore, there is alot to suggest that several of the fallen humans were absolute murderous pieces of garbage (the descriptions and lore on several pieces of equipment seem to suggest that the Gunslinger and the Ballerina were on a genocide run and had to be put down).
2. She is as guilty as she claims he is: She knew what he was doing, had the resources to either stop him or inform someone else to stop him and she did nothing. She knew the subjects were coming down the same hole. She could've blocked it, but instead she did nothing. Instead she forced them to go through a deathmaze. When she was clearly capable of safer alternatives (escorting them herself to safety). Given that she and Gorey were pound for pound stronger than anyone in the Underground, no one would dare oppose her. The truth is....she knew no one else had a solution.
3. The game makes it clear that monsters power and vitality comes from their emotional state. In short, monsters can (and did) DIE from despair. Asgore giving them hope was
the only way to prevent his people's extinction. Toriel's 'solution' (leaving with one soul and picking and choosing targets) would have just led to another war with the humans (as Asriel points out). More to the point, Humans A. don't tend to react well to monsters killing their kind (no matter WHO they are). B. Wouldn't react well to a goat man, wielding a pitchfork, with fire powers, coming from underneath the earth to collect souls (sound familiar?).

Wow, now that's a long and constructed comment or I don't know anything x)
Well, I can't say alot more, I basically agree with everything you said ^^ Mostly that 2nd and 3rd points.
About that 1st point, I guess you might be right, yet, I suppose, in monster's terms of lifespan (especially Asgore and Toriel's) every human would be a child to their eyes ^w^
But, even if I can imagine the Gunslinger as a genocidal piece of trash (hence the *empty* gun) I don't know why the Ballerina is considered as such, care to enlighten me? I didn't find anything convincing after some researches ^^'

The Ballerina's tutu and shoes were absolutely covered in monster dust (ie, their magical blood and guts).
Not to mention the descriptions talk about how 'dangerous' they make you feel, among other things.

LoumunVersen In reply to merkavah12 [2016-09-05 13:59:41 +0000 UTC]
Really? Where does it say the tutu and shoes were covered in monster's dust? I don't recall seeing that information, though I played the game and read alot of infos on the net. I remember the part about how "dangerous" they make you feel, but not the part about monster's dust °^°'

LoumunVersen In reply to merkavah12 [2016-09-05 14:22:54 +0000 UTC]
Huh? I just check on that, these item's name are "Old tutu" and "Ballet shoes", nothing about dusty °_°
And the flavor text for the tutu says "Finally, a protective piece of armor." and for the shoes, as you said, "These used shoes make you feel incredebly dangerous." but then again, nothing about dust ^^'

merkavah12 In reply to LoumunVersen [2016-09-05 14:30:36 +0000 UTC]
Not quite. In a consecutive genocide run, some item descriptions change. The old tutu and the ballet shoes become the dusty tutu and the dusty shoes.
Also, in V.1 the tutu was just referred to as 'the dusty tutu' without even needing the genocide run.

It does? I have hard time believing it, do you have a proof ? a screenshot, an official or believable source ?

Oh dear, this conversation has become quite stern, I didn't mean to sound upset, I just wanted to understand. I feel like I missed something on the game (well, I didn't finish the genocide yet - I'm stuck at Undyne ^^') yet, I know I've dig a lot in the game ^^
So, no, you didn't upset me, sorry if I sounded like you did ^^' Alright, I'll try to find it, then. You said it was in a genocide run or in a new genocide after another genocide one?

merkavah12 In reply to LoumunVersen [2016-09-05 16:51:33 +0000 UTC]
CONSECUTIVE, is the key word. So do a genocide run after completing your initial genocide run.
No problem. I was just worried I upset one of my favorite artists.

Well, only fools stay on their marks, and Toriel certainly isn't. Sure, she's still upset with him, but we do know what happened and how Asgore suffered from his anger led mistake, he just wanted his people to have hope, his wish was pure. I'm sure Toriel can realize that she had a part to play in his ex's clear depression and she'll be heartless not to forgive him after a time. I'm sure she isn't that bad <3 And anyway, that's shipping as you said, my opinion and just how I see things <3
