She is an awesome character that I really enjoyed reading from.
Was just thinking of when she started smiling while she was trying to scowl and it made me laugh so hard.

And she had a sort of Romeo and Juliet story with Willow (even though I like their story better than R and J)

Totally. She's surprisingly dynamic and well-written for only three books. Sutherland just impresses me more and more. The Poison Jungle was definitely one of my favorites so far. I still like Talons of Power better, but I think The Poison Jungle ended waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy better than Talons of Power did.Β
And yessss, I loved that. I wished there was a bit more of the forbidden romance part, honestly. It would have been intriguing and suspenseful, and more shocking when they got found out. And after Willow and Sundew went on the big mission together, no one seemed to care they were obviously together except for a few passive-aggressive comments from Nettle.
But yeah. I like their story way better than Romeo and Juliet too. XP

Yeah, Willow and Sundew's relationship has grown over years of being friends, where Romeo and Juliet met each other, got married, and died in the span of like three days
Sundew and Willow seem like they have a realistic relationship and is probably my favorite canon ship TBH
I of course loved Escaping Peril, which was the book that I really decided to have Peril be my favorite character.
But I think that Poison Jungle is a REALLY awesome book that is one of the best examples of WoF as a whole

I really need to reread Escaping Peril. It was quite a while ago when I read it (around when it first came out, I think) and I didn't like it. I think I need to read it more slowly. Of course, it's the only book in my collection that I can't find.
