24" x 24"Egg tempera on panel.
This was a trial for my painting materials and techniques class (in which I learned a LOT of new technical painting jargon and techniques that I am VERY anxious to put to use). I'm a first-timer with egg tempera, but I lurved it. Especially the glossy finish. The grounds are rabbit skin glue with about 8 coats of sanded marble powder + RSG, buffed with a rag, so the surface is glassy<3
Stagnant man makes another appearance^_~

I like the composition of the piece. The stars dangling form the trees is quite enjoyable and the rust like background takes me to a world that resembles silent hill.

I'm glad you think so. It was sort of an odd build up with egg tempera layers. Three yolks gave their lives for this piece...
