Ah, as I gathered, the crossover was created from the fact that all three are secretly heroes in their respective universes, and have to hide it from normal population. Like Danny is a half-ghost, Jake is a dragon-protector of magical community, and Randy was chosen as the next ninja to protect his town. There are of course differences between them, but the overall idea is the same.Β
Though I too, sometimes wonder why exactly those three, there are some other characters who can fit the qualities, so to say. But I can't deny that they seem to work quite well in a crossover, ne?)Β
