Description Was playing around with Photoshop brushes XD
I have no idea what I was thinking when doing the line art... massive amounts of hair just appeared before I realized!!! And so I had to put myself into the pain of coloring strands of hair.. orz
To be honest I don't like how messy it turned out, (from too much hair and sparkling filters) but I'm considering it finished!! XD

Nice artwork as usual. I have yet to try using digital brush patterns like that... but I'm too lazy to find some. Plus I still stick to openCanvas for drawing, since my old version of PhotoShop doesn't draw lineart smoothly enough.

Yo long time no see!
Yeah I don't like Photoshop lines either so I normally outline by hand or in Painter (like this one). I rarely use brushes as well... and when I do the final outcome becomes so messy orz

I'm more used to traditional style of making patterned designs... drawing manually, one by one.

The girl herself is pretty. I like how she has turned out. As for the rest I'll agree with you... she would be walking on that hair if the wind wasn't blowing
Do the butterflies have any meaning or are they in any connection with the character, or it was totally about toying around with lines, and brushes?

Actually when I first drew the character I had no idea about the background Then afterwards I thought that she would suit being under the full moon and butterflies flying around her so that's the image I went for. And the wings on her were just there because I found brushes that looked pretty big and was a waste if I just used them as little butterflies... hahaha...
