For all of you who are commenting about the progress of the dress - I forgot to mention that I managed to complete it MONTHS ago... All the way back in May, haha.Please forgive me! I've been meaning to take pictures for AGES, but I'm currently away at college and the dress is hanging in my room about 3 hours northeast of Columbus. Winter break is coming up in a week, so I'll be able to take some shots and post them very soon, so please stay tuned!

Ah, thank you! Yes, I did wear this to dress to prom. The real version is ever so slightly different from the sketches, probably not much you could notice though. I was crunched for time so I never got to make the vest, sleeves or cuffs, sadly. I was still sewing the buttons on when my friends came to pick me up!

If i may ask-
Could i use part of this dress (from the bottom of the bust up) for an idea for a dress of my own. I don't mena like copying- i just think that a harness (isn't that what their called?) top would be i deal for the dress i have in mind. But i would use the same coloring- just basic idea.

Yeah, the vest isn't in the back view. xD I had it drawn more to the right, but I didn't like the way it was drawn, so I cropped it out. I may redraw it and add it in later.
