he powered up his wings and lifted himself in the air but paused to look down at her... he could see the tears brimming in her sorrowful scarlet eyes as the she failed to hide her disappointment.
"they need me." he explained, she looked away from him, and wiped a falling tear from her cheek.
"they always do..." she replied letting out a bitter chuckle.
"he knows i'm with you, Six wouldn't have called if they could have handled it..."
"they need you, the world needs you..." she recited from the past excuses he'd given her. she looked straight at him, no longer crying... she wasn't a child... she didn't need to throw a tantrum everytime providence took him away. "but Rex... i need you too."
"Circe..." he called out. "please-
"just go, just come back to me... alive."she demanded knowing it was unfair of her to make him choose between her and innocent people.
"i'll be back just-
"wait for you, i know..." she interrupted. "i will."
"i love you." he stated with an apologetic smile as he rushed off leaving a gust of wind behind him. she looked up at the sky yearningly as she clutched her cloak so it wouldn't follow the breeze.
"sure you do..." she muttered sadly into the wind.

is just me or does anyone else think these guys could never have a normal date? cause i do.

anyways just saw a pretty sad movie... cried like bitch and now i'm drawing emo shit... but it came out pretty good and the little side story isn't too terrible either.

hope you guys had an amazing new years! it's 2011!! whoowhoo!! 5 more years and i will take over Canada!! muawahahah!
