Description I sent my very close friend, a attachment of my early pen drawing of Kawa & Shiro in an e-mail. She liked it a lot but there were some minor details with Kawa: she looked a lot like Sango from the Inu-Yasha manga.

Leena suggested that I change Kawa's clothes, make her hair shorter or change the hair color. I did 3 of the changes, but I'm going to keep Kawa's hair red & LONG.

I'm also commissioning my DA friend, to draw Kawa & Shirokiku-Maru "Shiro" for me. Pretty sweet, no? I hope this helps u a lot, Bliss-chan. I'll do Shiro soon 2.

I love her!! She is so beautiful and perfect for Shiro-kun! Her clothes look so rich and silky! You Totally Rock!! Her hair is beautiful!! Hard to find a beautiful red-haired warrior maiden Heroine these days!!

As do I!! I completely agree with you as well! Kawa's clothes are Shiro's old clothes! Thank You A Lot!! I'm glad you think sooooo!! I know what you mean by that and Kawa is protective of the people she loves: Shiro, their 3 adopted pups(2 human orphan boys & a little Northern Ogre bat girl-pup) & their 10-member pack & their home!!

The red hair makes her different from Sango and the rest. It's a bold statement on the persona.

That was the idea for my redesigning Kawa and it makes Kawa stand out from Sango & the rest of the group in the Inu-Yasha manga.
Kawa is a bit fiery when protecting the things that are really important to her. I think it suits Kawa well.
