I've been making myself a bunch of earrings like this lately b/c I can't afford to buy the ones I want to get. I love the little ghosts you've made!

That's what got me started! You should try putting some of your creations on Etsy - I've made quite a few sales in just a couple of days!

I actually have two Etsy shops. One's been open almost two years and has done pretty well, but things have been pretty slow lately. What's the link to your Etsy shop? I'd love to check it out!
I love your Tardis earrings! They are great! I've never seen Doctor Who, but love the Tardis!
I just freaked when I went to your profile because you're two years older than me and everyone else I come into contact with on here is 13 or 14 years old! It's nice to talk to someone my own age for a change! lol

I use the frosted kind as well because that's the only kind I'm familiar with using. I didn't ever play around with it as a kid, but when I was in a crafting phase in college; I used a lot of it. I've been out of work for nearly 16 months now, and as you can see by my 800 plus deviations, crafting and drawing is basically all I've been up to!
The links to my shops are:

Have you already had your baby?

I had help with my banners and avatars. *JinxBunny designed the one for my jewelry shop and *armadilloboy designed the one for my textile shop. I used to make my own, but when you have professional designers as pals, why not have them do it for ya? lol
Congrats on your little one! That must be so exciting and tiring at the same time.
I have a sewing machine, but don't really know how to use it and I have the same exact fear as you about getting digits sewn together. I hand sew everything and use a lot of felt glue (which I just discovered) for appliques. I also like to stencil with freezer paper on fabric. It's a really simple and fun technique I learned on Cut Out + Keep. If you're not familiar with that site you might wanna check it out. [link] It's like dA, but for crafters. It's based out of London and the members on there are super nice, close-knit, and we do a lot of crafts swaps which are great fun.

Well I used to have Photoshop but now just have GIMP. It's not quite as versatile so I get a little frustrated with it when designing. When baby gives me some quiet I'll get my banner fixed - I will persevere!
She is indeed exciting & tiring...much like her father LOL
That's an excellent site & has gone straight into my favourites - I'll have a proper browse later. I'm not so hot at *making* tutorials but I like the idea of following some. My sister is really creative too so I think it's something she might like too - thankyou for sharing!

You're welcome! The only banners I've ever made were in GIMP. I just got Photoshop Elements with my tablet, but I'm not too keen on it. I've been using a free trial of Illustrator to draw lately, but it's expired. As long as I keep it open on my desktop, I still have it, but I'm waiting for my computer to crash, so I'll have to go back to Photoshop and GIMP.
Your new bunny charms are super cute!

I am planning to make Christmas decorations. I just don't have any ideas right now. I'm so not about traditional decorations. I love the little hooks I found at the craft store in the Christmas section!

Cuteness! I wanted to ask you, is it ok to substitute grey for silver? I went to the craft store last Friday to see if they had silver-ish felt. They did not, not even the glittery kind. I'll probably try another shop and see what they have. If they have the white with silver glitter would that be ok? If they don't have that, would grey be ok?
