Absolutely gorgeous... how exactly did you manage to do this? I see a lot of people doing stuff with newspapers, paints and other medium forms but I never figured out how they did it.

Well, it was a matter of trial and error. I had this concept pop into my head, then I tried to make it. I didn't like that result so I came back to it a week later and began to add/subtract from the art I had originally created. I ended up with this.
That is a bit vague but that is really how this piece came to be.
When you work with newspaper there is actually a lot to consider. The most basic part is the adhesive you use. It can be something as simple as wheat paste, or as pricey as a gel medium for acrylics. The best thing to do is try again, and again, and again until you like something that you made. =]

I used an assortment of texture pastes that you can pick up at most art stores to mix with acrylic. I think in this one there was a little stucco and some paste and what not =} I pretty much just grab whatever's close and throw it on hehehe.

Colors are perfect, yet to me looking at it, it seems incomplete. As if you could add more to it. But then again, less is more. Overall awesome job, I really love it <3
