Here is my half of an art trade with !I LOVE the way this lady turned out. She's strong and didn't come out of the oven with any nicks. The painting went really well, and I like how the colors played off each other. She's so adorable and touchable, and was such a fun doll to make! She is also the first of my dolls to get my fancy new feathers (in her tail) as well as the first doll to have elements made of this new purple scaly fabric I just got. She was so great to make, and I hope *voodoomystique likes him too!

Wow, that's really beautiful... How long time does it take you to finish one doll like this? And what are her head and her paws made of? I am just curious, never spoken to anybody who can make dolls.

Thank you! Her head and paws are made of oil based clay. A doll of her size usually takes between 15 and 20 hours start to finish depending on complexity. I have a five foot long doll I spent over 50 hours on!

It is! Uhm, after sculpting my. Hands used to get tired, but even at work I do things that are rough on my hands, like tiny detail work and tension stuff, so they are pretty used to it. The sewing doesn't ever bother me anymore. I've been doing that for almostmy entire life. I have an overwhelming stuffed animal addiction

I love him too! He's such a fun doll to hold and move around. Very photogenic! For once, I have made a photogenic doll O.O FINALLY.
