Alright... I kinda reeeeallly screwed up the lighting on this one. Initially, I made it coming from the top right... completely disregarding that the tree trunk should be in that side, aka it'll block the light. So yeah, that screwed me over when I wanted to create a bg... so I stuck with just greens rather than drawing leaves or branches or something...

The texture on the background was done by drenching a towel in nail polish remover and just... patting the paper gently. (I always wanted to try this technique, so yay!)

The one thing I like about this colouring is that I think I quite improved in terms of colouring the skin. [ You can check my mixed media gallery to see what I mean. ]

What do you think? And I would love it if I could have some suggestions about what to colour next as I'm a bit at loss. ; A ;
