Description This is a close-up of a small part of a mural I saw in a Romano-Byzantine era section of the Old City of Jerusalem, just inside the Zion Gate near King David's Tomb (see [link] ).

It was a beautiful depiction of life in the ancient city, but I thought it was really adorable that the artist included this pair of children from the ancient and modern worlds interacting with each other. Really gives you a feeling for the living history of Jerusalem, doesn't it?
