Since my NCIS series turned out so nicely, I decided to do images based on another of my favorite TV shows, the sometimes disgusting-but-always-classically funny Bones, based on the life of forensic anthropologist and author Kathy Reichs. Essentially, whenever a body has been found that is either too damaged or too decomposed to easily identify, this crack team from the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington D.C. is called in to get the job done.

As with NCIS, I tried to create outfits for each character based on their backgrounds, personalities and general quirks (he he!).

Caroline Julian, credentials:
~Highly-skilled and passionate federal prosecutor
~A living embodiment of the phrases "no-nonsense attitude" and "nobody's fool"
~Not usually skeptical of her scientist colleagues, but can get impatient when they "use a lot to say a little"
~Has absolutely no qualms about speaking her mind to anyone (can sometimes be even blunter than Dr. Brennan)
~If something/someone helps her present case, she's all compliments and smiles
~If something/someone doesn't help her present case, she can silence the speaker with a single look
~Despite her "hard-shelled" facade, she genuinely admires and cares about the people she works with
~Can be quite affectionate (and sometimes even flirty) when she wants to be

Since Caroline has definite Louisiana/New Orleans roots, I had in mind for her outfit the grand, elegant dresses worn by wealthy southern women in the 18th and 19th centuries. I also chose these particular shapes to emphasize her shorter, broader frame. With her expression, I tried to convey the seriousness with which she takes her profession, but also to hint at both the shrewdness and humor displayed in her personality. Enjoy.
