That feel when you draw for 90 minutes and only the last little doodle is the one that turns out ok.
Mary/Mari Kane who is Kiku's friend. Mary is an introverted teen who's been uprooted a lot due to her father's job. Eventually it leads to her living in Japan and leaving 'Murica. Eventually she joins an after school bowling league where she meets Kiku, Nai, and Kimi. She is my character Ellen's daughter, and Mari is somehow related to Kellyne though it's not determined how.
I'm not good at slice-of-life stories so I never fully finished this and focused more on the stuff after it. Kiku's attempted escape from a Totalitarian Technocracy in "Stone Tomorrow", and Kellyne's eventual story in "Homo Machinus".
