Description You can take away my suits, you can take away my home, but there's one thing you can never take away from me: I am Iron Man.
-- Tony Stark

after four months of hard graft it's finally finished.
well, i say four months but taking into account i've been super busy trying to juggle multiple jobs at once and keeping up with some other work, it sounds about right.

okay, so i could probably say a lot about this drawing, the main things being that this is by far the most hardest and most detailed work i've made yet.
some of the details in this managed to cripple me emotionally and creatively. ;D which is probably why i got a bit lazy and rushed some things towards the end.
but my absolute obsession with iron man helped me through it no worries. xD

this one's a bit bigger than a4 so i actually had to scan it in three parts, hopefully you can't see where i've tried to fix the scan lines too much.
the scan did kill some of the tones in there though, it does look a lot more smoother in real life.

^ some awfully bad wips. there were a few more of these but i managed to kill my phone and lose most of them. :/ but these were the ones i managed to save.

15.5 x 10
done with 2h, 2b, 4b pencils on textured fabriano paper, and a highlight brush pen.

Oh my gods. deviantART needs an emoticon with a smiley running in circles and waving his hands and jumping in joy at the same time. Now THAT would express my love towards this. The water looks great, the lighting looks great, everything looks great, and umm, yes, sorry to break it to you, but if you look veeeery close you can see the parts where the different scans join.

Wow talk about wow, I spent about a minute or more studying the detail in the download. I tried to find the places you got lazy, all i noticed was the fisted arm looks blurry. The water in particular looks fabulous. I totally feel you when you say realistic detail cripples creativity, but sometimes the ocd side comes outΒ
