I can't believe I get to say this, but I'm done! 2 days earlier than my final home stretch schedule for this particular illustration. I'm trying to squeeze in a 5th illustration for ECCE next weekend.Decided to do a Sailor Moon Fanart since it's back on tv. I don't think I've done a group drawing of them since Junior High. It was fun to do and it was definitely a challenge, but I'm really happy to be done.Β
If the bedroom seems off from Usagi's, it's because I referenced 3 different bedrooms from Sailor Moon 1992, Sailor Moon Live Action and Sailor Moon Crystal. I just combined bits and pieces of each.Β
This was supposed to be a much smaller piece and definitely was supposed to be a whole lot less complicated. I've worked really hard on this one. Last time I drew anime was a few years ago, so I'm a little rusty, but decided at the end to give it a bit more of my own style of them. The coloring, did take me the longest to do. There's a lot of details to account for and I had to switch my swatches a lot.

If they're watching a horror movie, I love how Usagi & Ami's face reaction. LOL!! Looks like Rei fell asleep and Minako is reaching for something in her hand and Mako-chan is trying to get Usagi to see the tv. I LOVE IT!!!! Great job!!!

Thank you so much. I don't draw Sailor Moon stuff a lot or fan art really. But when expo's or conventions come around, it's the time I use to create some. It's nice to sometimes take a break from your usual workload. Keeps you sharp.

Oh wow...L.A....that might take a few years. it's pretty darn far. lol. But I would like to travel in the future again to go to different conventions. I've only been to Anime North, Animaritimes, East Coast Comic Expo and Harvesting the Arts Festival.Β
I will draw Sailor Moon stuff again in the future. I'm a huge fan, always have been. But it will be a while. After East Coast Comic Expo, which is next weekend, I'm starting to get ready for Harvesting the Arts Festival which is where I sell Bunny Goes MOo products. Then it's working on my comic book (character in my icon is from that). And after xmas the cycle starts up again. Although, next year I'd like to attend Animaritimes in Fredericton, NB as well, been a few years.Β
