*deep breaths*

Okay..I present Lu's "Mega Reference!"
This includes four of his forms, which I will go into detail about each one, plus a nice little turntable and some traits with likes/dislikes. There are a few others that I left out, pretty much just Cloaked and Predator Armored, but those fall under Post-Nibel so I left it out.

Lu: Pure-White
Lu was a typical spirit, being pure white like the others. He never "found his light," meaning that he didn't have any defining traits (think of Ori as the Light of Hope), however he did have common abilities like Spirit Edge, dash, and poison immunity. The last one may seem like a odd-ball, but let me explain. Lu is based off of a fennec fox, and those creatures are immune to a scorpion's venom, so I just thought it would be a nice little Easter egg that he has that trait too. At this point in time, he was pretty thin, and it wouldn't be until much later that he would start to gain body mass.

Nightmare: Corrupted
Lu wandered into the Misty Woods and was ambushed by dark spirits. Under normal circumstances, he would have died, but some unknown force wanted him alive...even if it meant in this abomination of a body. So he existed as this being for a long time before he was saved. But until then, keep an eye out for a single glowing red dot, cause it might be watching you...

Lu: Mixed
Even after being saved from Nightmare's curse, scars of his past still remain. Darker patches of fur on his feet, hands, tail, ears, and tufts, along with a scar across his right eye marked him as a monster. It didn't help his case that any amount of magic would overpower his body and release into a rather large explosion. It was good that he became friends with Rani at this time, otherwise...well...I'll leave that up to you to decipher. He would often spend his time alone, out of fear of hurting others, practicing until he was confident in his ability to maintain control. But even then, emotions could get the better of him.

Lu: Post-Nibel
This is where his story takes on a more...game-lore-free approach. Canonically to Ori and the Blind Forest, Spirit Guardians are in the stone age, or around there. Lu and Rani were able to leave Nibel using their unique abilities and, using light-based technology, were able to leave the planet. They found Eymia, which is a fictional science fiction world. Think neural implants, robotic body parts, and high-tech spaceplanes. Given the modern technology level, Lu has found his clothing of choice as just a simple green hoodie. He'll also wear a cloak from time to time for exploring. This is also around the time when he started to gain body weight (muscle) in order to wear a custom space suit Rani helped him make. Having mostly mastered the ability to switch between dark and light magic, he can be a serious opponent, despite his rather small size. However, just like in the previous form, his emotions can still overwhelm his control, though it's less common for that to happen. He's finally happy with who he is and how he looks, with some help from friends to get him there.
