Description So this is my picture for the moondrop event.
Unfortunatly my character Kyhro don´t have a girl he likes yet.But he is often dreaming of having a girlfriend with wings because he admire the persons of Voleros who can fly.
So I draw this scene he is often dreaming of. He in the magical night were the moonflowers glow, giving one of the flowers to the persons he really love.
I liked the idea of the moondrop flowers a lot because they remind me so much of bleeding heart flowers which are one of my favourite flowers. So the moondrop flowers are the main subject of my picture and the persons in the background are only silhouettes. For them I used my last piece of Screentone I have here. I need to buy some new screentones.Done with Copics, airbrush and screentone.
Hope you like it

Awww how sweet >w<
The screentones are a little hard against the softness of the copics, and it stands out a bit because it's black while everything else has colour. Guess that can't be helped, since screen tones tend to come in, well, black And I especially love you you did the shining yellow lights. So bright and shiny *u*

Thank you very much I only had this piece of screentone left and I thought it would be nice to use it because I didn´t want to color the silhouettes completely black.I think the biggest problem of the screentone is that it always comes out very hard when you scan it.But it seems that there are ways to get it looking more softer.I have to try this out when I get some new screentones.

Thank you It was my last piece of screentone I had left from the ones I bought in Japan when I was there. Now I have to find an online store who sell some good looking ones and that´s not so easy.

I was last year there together with my aunt.It was very nice at all;there are so many nice places to visit.(my favourite was the Hachiko statue at Shibuya Train Station and visiting Kyoto )But I was also very happy when I was back at home because I missed my family, boyfriend and all my pets.
I bought in Japan a lot of things for drawing also an Yukata.I plan to visit Japan once again but than together with my boyfriend. But before we went to Japan he has to learn a little bit Japanese, too XD I hope you will visit Japan, too one day because it´s always nice to see different cultures and countries and it´s definitively worth a visit.

That's so cool! Yeah, my fiance and I want to visit, but it's so costly!

I'd like to see the Hachiko statue. That story of the dog waiting for its owner even though he died makes me cry!!!

So, you know some Japanese?

I like the story of the dog very much, too.I have also seen the movie Hachiko and it was the first time I´ve started to cry while watching a movie. When I thought my dog would have done this for me ...I was so touched by this emotion.
Yes,I know some Japanese. But I think it will take so many years of practise and learning to speak this language roughly good.I can only understand and speak some easy things for now.
But for me it´s very important to speak a little bit of the language from the country you´re visiting. That´s why I think it´s important for my boyfriend to learn this language a little bit,too when he want to go there with me.

Ah, that movie is in my DVD list, but I'm gonna cry, I just know it!!

Yes, I'm a little nervous about speaking my Japanese. I went to Japan Town in San Francisco and there was a shop lady I spoke very little with, but I understood her and was able to talk to her enough that she was delighted. lol. She made me feel better about my Japanese cuz earlier I had said "arigato gozaimasu" to a cashier and she just looked at me and was like "Unh." XD

I think it´s a lot if you understand and could speak to the shop lady a little.Maybe the cashier was just suprised because you spoke to her in Japanese; most of the japanese people don´t expect that other can speak their language once my aunt said to me.I don´t know if this really true but it could explain some things.

H... how adorable! ;u; I hope Kyhro gets to find like someone he loves like that in the near future. And it seems like a lot of people are single for the event so it's not too bad anyway. <3

I hadn't heard of bleeding heart flowers before but now that I have, I'm impressed! They're so gorgeous!

Great work with this, in any case! I love the colours and the idea behind it with the silhouettes. C:

You're very welcome!~
I suppose you do... but luckily roleplaying is fun so it should be good for you! ^^

Of course I am, they're beautiful! Really? That's amazing, I bet they look even better in real life! ;u; Do they smell nice, too?

Luacia In reply to Ribbon-Knight [2011-02-16 12:54:50 +0000 UTC]

No they don´t really smell nice I think. You only smell a little bit when you put them directly to your nose and than it´s only a gentle smell nothing special or good smelling.

Ah, I see. Well that's interesting! ^u^ I don't actually smell flowers often so it's no biggie, I was just curious. Thanks for the answer!
