.Not sure if anyone could like it .. Not sure if anyone could understand it ..
The meaning of it is too hidden and too different .. Sorry I can't explain it ..
it's not perfect of course .. it had to be quick but expressive ..
I don't know if I ever return to this theme again .. but now it stays as it is .. I don't think I will add anything to this picture ..

This reminds me of a fairietale about a poor little girl who sells 'matchstickes' but turned out having to use them for herself not to freeze to death in the hard Winter..She was all alone in the world and when her last match faded out she saw her grandmother from heaven coming to take her 'home'.....
Or somethinglike that...it's an old fairietale and i dont remember lots of it...
Anyway, it's lovely...
Dark and kinda sad but also warming...

i really love this luana, your work is amazing. This picture really has meaning to me. It is one i would love as a picture in my room. I know what you mean about darkness being around you. Alot of my poems are dark that i felt i needed to write better poem becuse people didn't respond to them. Fears of the past chasing you.....

it was totally painted with new brushes set I made for myself not long ago .. I used no photo reference (if I had one I would make a manip on this theme) .. the colors were changed a little .. mostly to make the cloak deep blue (as I wanted in original idea) .. on original it is a bit more purple ..
all textures were made with those brushes too .. maybe just a little effects over them .. just to make them look sharper and messy .. I applied them mostly to the edges of the picture and kept the main subject untouched ..
the meaning is really difficult to explain because it has too many defferent sides and details ..
I think if you look deeper you'll find something ..

The shadows of future are looking into my face ..
The fears of the past are chasing me ..
I feel no ground under my feet ..
from emptiness to emptiness ..
or is there the way?
Behind those tumbling walls I may find the answer ..
or maybe just another door to another dark world ..
from emptiness to emptiness ..
from darkness to darkness ..
But the light will stay with me
Because I am the Light ...

deep, yet from my point of view , such cannot be fully expressed or explained by words alone nor by any one else. such exprsses feelings and thoughts and emotions so deep that there is no language nor words that can compliment it. such , is the whole idea of expressions thru art. beautiful piece.

This is deep for me. Just like a well. There's something or someone hiding under the cloak, behind the mask. Is it looking for something? hum... maybe not, maybe it is fleeing, or going to a secret meeting place!
I really like the whole scene and the ambiance. How did you draw this? All done in photoshop? The lighting is very warm, I really like it. And once again, the textures are... more than really appropriated, if you can understand what I mean
