.I've never submitted here untouched selfportraits, but I think for New Year I can do it
..
it was taken this summer .. my friend photographed me, she is not professional so maybe some things can be not right .. but I think it came out quite good ..

First, I went in your gallerie to dowload the leavy brushes but it doesn't works

Of course their is a biblical element here as everybody has noted -- but I find the pre-raphaelite feel to this particularly enchanting: that flowing gown, the innocent and pallid face... reminds me a little of ophelia just before she casts herself into the river...
the dress is also (in a small cosmic coincidence) the same one i just recently saw in a sixty year old photo of anna akhmatova with mandelshtam or blok, can't remember which...

Beautiful shot. Have you read The Mists Of Avalon? This reminds me a little of Morgaine - beautiful, stunningly faery-like. The surroundings are gorgeous - also slightly reminds me of Snow White, with the red apple held in your hands.

I really wish it was summer again *sigh* I like the recurring use of the colour red; I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out. Was that planned? It contrasts well with all the wonderful greens, and the pale colour of your skin contrasts well with the black in your clothes. Lovely picture.

I didn't notice till I read LadyMorgana's comment that the lips and the apple go perfect together. This is a beautiful photo, referring to subject and skill behind the camera. It pretty much leaves me breathless, just soaking in the mood and the atmosphere of the whole picture. Wow, this is amazing.

She may not be a professional but wow that turned out wonderfully. I absolutely love the way the black and red of the dress, and the red apple, and the darkness of your hair contrast your pale skin and the green green green of the trees framing behind you. Sweetness.

I really like this picture. I think it is the best you have been submitting lately. I really like the lighting and how you can tell she is really thinking about things. How she is holding her fingers. Definatly a favorite. Keep up the good work.

...wow. Very nice portrait shot; the surroundings are perfect for a pensive and calm expression such as this. I often people watch and look for people that would be good for a photo shoot...from what I've seen, you're certainly one of them. Too bad you don't live in South FL, I think we could have fun working together. You seem to have a regal, reserved, mysterious, beautiful, and enchanted (etc) look about you...would be a pleasure to try and capture on film.

Most excellent, but I'd be tempted to crop off half to three quarters of the space above your head to focus more on the subject. Other than that, it's perfect, pass the praise onto the photographer. Your framing of the photo is very nice too.
