Description

The Standard Rapier Shotgun can be bought as a conversion kit for the Benelli M4 or as a standalone product. It was heavily inspired by the FN FS2000 rifle’s design, has a build-in picatinny rail and a selective feed mode, allowing it to draw rounds from either its tube (7 rounds) or from a 12 round magazine.

The Shortened Rapier Shotgun is built specifically as a concealable backup weapon that can be used as a single handed shotgun, for breaching or, with the addition of a rail-to-rail adapter, as an attachment to go under any other fire weapon (just as with the M302 Grenade Launcher), explaining why it has flip-up sights instead of the Standard model's rigid ones. It has more designs cues from the FN P90 instead and has lost the magazine feeding in favor of size, offering an integrated flashlight in return.

The Rapier is basically a semi-automatic, 12 gauge shotgun in bullpup configuration, using composition materials (mainly carbon fiber and nylon-based polymer) to make it as light weight as possible given its bulkier figure.

This is amazing! My kudos to you!

P.S. is it possible to remove the handguard and attach the GL-1 grenade launcher?

Since this were one of my first guns, it was not very well thought out, but I figure it would be possible if some *ahem* inconveniences on the design were changed. I think it would be a good idea to implement something like that.
Thanks!

You're welcome.

I see...well, I've rarely seen any shotguns with grenade launchers, and I'm hoping to see some sometime in the future.

I basically surf around the net for HD photos of guns to mash them up, but situations where I need to make some part on my own, change the view of a part or use even furniture parts to add some detail are not rare. I usually take 5 to 8 hours to make one, but those like the Colt Crystal (where I had to study the internal mechanism and had to manually assemble the parts) and a Handheld Gatling gun that I'm still making can take up to 30 hours to be completed.

You can send me the gun that you would like to see "turned real" and we can discuss on what I can do for you. Giving you all credit if it's your original, helping you come up with a fictitious history and name/nickname (or offering historic insight on the firearm if its already an existing model) and the amount of liberty I can have with the design. The only thing is that I prefer side-shots over angled views, since its easier for me to find the parts to make it.

The short answer: I'm a "photosmith" and I could use the challenge to both please and entertain us. LET'S DO IT!

1) Color: black/dark grey polymer, camo pathern (which one if so?), dual colors (matte or metallic?), wood and metal (which colors?)?
2) Magazine: transparent/clear, metal or plastic?
3) Body and stock: more like the original, slightly organic or ergonimic-go-crazy?

Or "surprise me, kind sir!"?
