Description “One third remains of the feature, looking back, We’ve discussed a massive amount of creatures already. Now to showcase something equally massive, the Leviathans.”
“Leviathan; [Li-vahy-uh-thuhn]”
“The Leviathans consist of massive sea creatures. Not to be confused with Kaijus, although similar, Leviathans and Kaiju are different. On the broadest terms, Leviathans are strictly limited to the ocean, while Kaiju can be created anywhere. In hindsight, the comparison can only be made when observing the two’s lifespan and height, like Kaiju, Leviathans have no documented lifespan and their height varies, only being a hundred feet tall minimum. What further separates the two is the specific biological variants Leviathans fall under. Although varying in the specifics, these massive monsters can be grouped into three broad groups.”

“Octopus; [Ok-tuh-puhs]”
“The most common classification Leviathans receive. Octopus Leviathans are. Well octopi. Well...they have tentacles at least. Despite the simple name, Octopus Leviathans include any and all Leviathans that weld tentacles, from simple krakens to eldritch horrors. The classification has some leeway however, Leviathans must have at least 6 working tentacles to be classified as Octopus Leviathans. This fact makes me want to hurt somebody. Anyways, these Leviathans are the most intelligent of the bunch, cleverly utilizing its tentacles to bash, crush, rip, and tear it’s target. Other notable abilities it can possess are Aquanna Magic affinity, telepathy, and even mind control. Behaviors of note are how often it attacks other Leviathans, they have a fondness for most species of Estea and would defend them from other Leviathans in the immediate area.”

“Leech; [Leech]”
“The swimming horror, Leech Leviathans are living shedders. With no eyes or sense of smell, it’s only remarkable physicality is it’s teeth. Which they have a lot of, a third of their body is just their mouth. Physically, Leech Leviathans are serpent-like, functioning similar to a sea snake in a sense. Despite only having taste and touch as their senses, Leech Leviathans do not have jaws, let alone other appendages. Their method of feeding is simply moving about the ocean, with their attack method consisting of moving faster. Leech Leviathans are renowned for their ramming attacks, as terrifying as it sounds, one can avoid it by simply moving out of the way fast enough. Leech Leviathans are also very stupid, as they will continue charging indefinitely, until they hit something or starve trying. In spite of their lackluster prowess, it is still recommended to not fight one, as it has rapid regenerative properties that are fueled by feeding.”

“Crab; [Krab]”
“The toughest of the three, Crab Leviathans are equally annoying as Octopus Leviathans when it comes to the classification method. Although the name makes one believe that all Crab Leviathans bear terrifying claws, their actual classification comes from their armored shells. Furthermore, the definition of an armored shell is up in the air. Despite this annoyance, Crab Leviathans are the most dangerous of the three. They are incredibly aggressive, attacking anything that moves, especially any and all Leviathans and Kaiju. They carry out their frustrations through sheer blunt attacks, bashing anything attached to them against their target. Moreover, Crab Leviathans have an affinity for Inferna Magic which, get this, can cook the individual alive if used too often, similar to Chain Glocktopuses.”

“Although frightful, Leviathans are a rarity to witness, even more than Kaiju. So you don’t need to worry about them bothering you. With everything said and done there is one more thing I would like to bring up. Apparently, Leviathans have little capability to feel emotion. This not only acts as an additional difference between Leviathans and their ever more popular counterpart, Kaijus, but it’s information that can’t really be dropped on a whim? Imagine going to a party and someone just walks up to you and says, “Octopi punch fish out of spite.” And then leaving? It’s informative, yes, but it brings up so many more questions. How does one procure the intel of giant sea creature feelings? On a big enough scale that a conclusion can be reached? A real head scratcher that is.”
