This is Maja, handicaped dog, she´s been hitted by train and survived 4days in a snow, other dogs died, she lost her leg but lives happy life anyway...
Her owner is famous musher Roman Habasko

No. In most cases they learn to make do with handicap. I have seen a cow with three legs like this. They somehow manage.
