An athletic, unconventional pose in a colorful setting suits fine for an athlete who is in many ways somewhat unconventional and colorful character himself. While having him photographed with his cat or in his MMA outfit might serve purposes in their own right, it is great to see a picture that avoids such 'obvious' themes to represent him.

I have a personal project about various athletes, my concept comes from calisthenics and antique concept of harmony between body strenght and soul harmony

Reminds me of your picture 'Neo Olympia I' I had a look already earlier... I thought at the time what an excellent choice of setting it had for her in particular and must say the same trend with settings continues with this one. It just feels so "right" for the image and conception it creates. 

If it wasn't for my daily job, I wonder what excuse I might have for not making much progress with my personal projects... Glad to see good examples like yours of the opposite..!

I will keep neo olympia BW most probably and I also decided to make a color/bw mix of street workout activities so more athletes are coming for sure

I took bw Neo Olympia for granted... I just thought you might have found the colors of her possibly tanned skin and rock in the background to be too close for the effect. The contrast and shapes themselves between the sharp edged rocks and her well defined physique were also something I thought to work well in bw. Nevertheless, it's an impressive picture whichever way you choose to keep it.

By the way, does Tai Chi count as a street workout activity..?

Neo Olympia is tribute to Leni Riefenstahl Olympia and to body, sport and harmony itself. I think it works better in BW for this topic but I will see what I can come up with in the future and then I will decide whether keep it BW or not. For my Neo Olympia shot were colors too much.

Btw I think tai chi could work as well
