Description
This sculpture was inspired by the grek philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus' sentence "panta rei", which means "everything flows". The tortoise is a metaphore of time, which goes by slowly but unstopable, carrying both nature beings and man's creation, bound to the change, and relentlessly, to perish.This was made for a catalan sculpture contest, and, unfortunately, it wasn't chosen. But I feel pretty proud of it

I used porexpan, wire, air dry clay and metallic acrylic paint and black acrylic paint.
It's true, it's a tortoise, not a turtle I always make mistakes naming tortoises as turtles because in Spain we use the same word for both. Thanks for the correction

muchas gracias ^^^^^^ Pues esta hecha de arcilla de secado al aire (tiene un esqueleto de alambre y porexpan) y la he pintado con pintura acrilica metalizada y algo de negro.
