The villainous vampire Evil Eddie explains his history with the now grown up cartoon versions of the Garbage Pail Kids to the Garbage Pailers' children, whom he's captured.

Evil Eddie first explains that he never got along with his brother Nasty Nick because of his refusal to subsist on human blood. To stop him from continuing to be a danger to mortals, Nasty Nick eventually fought his brother and sealed them both inside a coffin.

After 80 years, Nick and Eddie were freed by the professor at the Jonessonian Institute. Evil Eddie resumed feeding on the blood of the living, but was thwarted because his brother warned Split Kit, Patty Putty, Clogged Duane, and Elliot Mess about him and they set up a trap where he was forced back into the coffin after Kit burped in his face (he had recently eaten a burger with garlic).

Evil Eddie remained trapped inside the coffin for the next several decades because the Kids made the smart move to wrap chains around his casket prison, but he was still freed yet again on this Halloween night by another vampire, and he's decided to capture the Garbage Pailers' children so that their parents would come after him and fall into his trap.
