Besides the the fact that it is beautiful, I really like the way you cannot see she's part tarantula (I didn't notice right away) as if we are her victims as well.

I [like a lot, apparently] really have a fear of spiders...big fuzzy looking ones. That's the best depiction of fear I can think of. Don't apologize! Heh. Your work is amazing!
I love how heavy her hair hangs...gives it a luscious feel...silky. The spider fuzz was achieved through your technique and the turquoise creates a feeling of security while the encroaching red and browns suffocate that feeling with it's own threatening presence.
The design on her forehead also tickles my funny bone, much like spider fuzz would. Chills due to it's beauty.

I love how the hair seems to sink into the spider's mouth. And I love the contrast between the colours. Does the flowers have any certain meaning or are they just decorative?

God yes I hate spiders
and no offense I hadnt seen the spider before I read the comments..I get a really sick feeling about this piece...it just feels so..morbid and even contradictory. because the being itself feels so sad to me but so overpowered by her nature...its like a tragedy and it makes my heart sick somehow...really ironic considering how people can be consumed by their hungry natures...or their darker sides..hmm its lovely and all..it just really effects me emotionally.
