no it doesn't have lenses yet, but i was planning on adding some eventualy, or just re-doing them alltogether. I think i could still improve the way i built them....

The eye-cups do look as though finding a good lense for each oen would be ungodly diffcult, lest you cut plexiglass or somesuch for them.
And its not so much costumes I'm looking to make as it is just, my own style of clothing. Some of it gothy, some punk, some steampunk, etc etc. I have a wide variety fashion of tastes X3

yeah i was thinking of using just cheap colored plastic, maybe a lime green because the interior is that color. But when i build a next pair, i'll look into better materials.
by costume, i also implied casual outfits
I make a lot of the clothes i wear, so it doesnt really fit any style either, but i could probably describe it as punk/goth/hippy/etc too, i know what you mean

yeah it seems more reminiscent of the diesel-punk sub-genre because of the tone, if it were sepia tone it would look older.

I know the idea of steampunk but i've never seen it in such an extraordinary way like this...
Of course you see something like it with small goggles and stuf but you made really some artform of it...

Actually, Jean Pierre Jeunet's 'The City of Lost Children' has some Steampunk elements to it ^^! And I love that sooo much

Hugo assembled it from old gun parts, piece of wood, a tube and hockey tape... the gun parts are still sorta functional though. Its really quite nice!
