He mostly one-shot me if I wasn't careful.
I didn't really count, it took me two days, about 6 hours or so. It probably took me around 40-50 tries. The annoying part is, is that it's a loooooong fight.
I eventually won, and when I did I shouted "YESSSSSSSSSSSSS" to the sky. He's considered the hardest DS3 boss, (debated with Slave Knight I think), I felt accomplished.
Also, he looks badass.
