I know I have been poking you so much with birthday wishes, but this picture will top it off! Hopefully it will make up for all the crummy gifts I have given you the past years, like that barbie doll that you hated, and those other pictures of your fursona, Rose, that I've drawn for you!

I worked extremely hard on this, even pushing aside my science essay for it!

To me, It doesn't look perfect/realistic enough, and I'm sorry for that. Maybe when I have time I will go back and fix it.

Anyway, I really appreciate our friendship. Meeting in preschool, until now, being there and teaching each other new things and ways. One of the most influential best friends in my entire life!

I really want to critique one of your pieces, It was hard to choose, all your art is amazing! So I chose to critique this one.

Pros: I'm not sure where to start, its quite amazing! The clouds are rendered beautifully, and the glow from behind is really great! The fur is very nice, it looks like it has a lot of effort in it, and it really shows. It is very realistic, and at looking at it I find very few cons.

Cons: The eye, That's really all I see as a con, and its still really good. The eye socket could have been made to seem a little deeper, But that is all.

Overall I love this Aptic!

Make the shading around it darker, Makes it pop out a little less, but the shading needs to be on the eye. And Make it I little lighter below the eye, It seemed to be flattened below the eye, just because of how it was shaded. ^-^

That fur ;; I love how much detail you managed to make flow into this. SO. MUCH. SMOOTH FUR. It's all going the right way too. So realistic <3 I could never sit there and do that on the computer. Your SAI paintings haven't yet to not just make me shocked and awe and just how amazing your skills are! The fox anatomy looks so even and well proportioned. She looks curious about the lights. The background reminds me of chasing fireflies at sunset, and the colors go together so smoothly. The gold/yellow in the middle is a good contrast to the violet/pink. I love how the balls of light draw your eyes around the picture, instead of focusing on the focal point, the lovely done fox.
