Snowcone Peafries come in the three primary colors -- Red, Blue, and Yellow! However, when the correct colors are bred together, they will produce a new colored Snowcone!Breeding two differently colored Snowcones together has a 50% chance to create a new color, and a 50% chance to create a hybrid of the two colors.
Red + Blue = Purple; Blue + Yellow = Green; Red + Yellow = Orange; and the combination of the three will create a Brown snowcone.
If you're lucky, breeding all of the colors together may yield a Rainbow Snowcone!
Snowcones will always have a roaning-type effect of their color (red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, or brown). The colors will not mix UNLESS there is a red/blue, green/orange, etc hybrid. Example being, you will never see a Red Snowcone with orange "roaning", only red!
Swirl-like markings are very common and most Snowcones have a "melting" look to them, like they've sat out in the sun for too long!
This coloration can be obtained from Memorial Day until the end of July.

so in order to get a rainbow, do you have to get a two hybrids with 3 of the seperate colours and breed those together? ^^

'Roaning' in this case means the color that fades into the white.
Yes, in order to get a rainbow you must breed two hybrids that (in ANY way) contain all of the snowcone colors minus brown.

I understand imports/starters can only be obtained between Memorial day and the end of July, but will we be able to breed them outside of that timeframe? (I've been watching the breed for a while, but am only now actually getting into it, so I'm sorry if this has already been answered)
