Description Costume replica of the Angel of Death from Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Made in less than 2 weeks for Anaheim Comic Con. Was loved by Doug Jones (the performer of said character) greatly! *brag!*

By chance, what material are the feathers made out of? I simply cannot tell.

may I ask what you used to make the torso?

That one is a leotard I covered in gesso (because I was dumb and started with black fabric instead of white) and then glued on cut pieces of craft foam. You cannot see in this picture but it actually cracked and peeled a lot, so I would not recommend this process. :/

Thanks for answering me!
I'm still thinking about how I will do it. But it seems like it is going to be sponge rubber in my case. I don't know if that works for such big things. I know it only from smaller shoulder armours and crowns. But there's no way finding it out without trying I really want to make that cosplay too.
And I wonder: did you see anything with that mask?

Yes I did! The slits are small but since they are so close to the eye I have about 85% clarity with some tunnel vision.

Good luck on your attempts!

The mask is simply tied on! I used Model Magic modeling compound over a wire form.
