RE-RE-EDIT: I just realized I didn't name the people in here OuOlll Hope you recognize them but anyway...Romance (latin) family left to right:
France, S.Italy (genderbend), Roma, N.Italy (genderbend), Spain, Hungary
Germania family left to rigth:
Austria, Prussia, Germany, Germania, Liechtenstein, Switzerland

Yes, this is DEEEEPLLYYYY inspired by GONZO and COM's RomeoxJuliet anime
It's a must-see! I think they still have the episodes on youtube. It's about 24 eps but it's definetely worth watching ^^ It's different from Shakespeare's but it's great X3 I was so sad when the series ended >.<Ehh, sooo...Yes I did fail at drawing glowing stuff OTL but overall I think it was quite a nice challenge for me ^^ I mean, it kinda helped me to know myself better in perseverance and patience stufff....you know...ah whatever
Um...basically no originality here, just REALLY REALLY inspired myself from the anime
LOL um, "romance" stands for "latin"...not really the other thing XDLOLz this is supposely the story of this (FICTIONAAAAL):
The kingdom of Romance and the kingdom of Germania were, for a long time, worst enemies. The kings were Rome and Germania (duh XD) and they both have children: Felicia of Italy and Ludwig of Germany.
One day, since apparently "all" latins love to party, there was a party at the Romance castle. Gilbert (prussia), Ludwig's cousin, brought him along so they would get "hot babes" (LOL). Ludwig didn't want to but when he saw Felicia....*sparkles* They fell in love at frist sight. But they never knew the secret behind their names...and so started the great tragedy of the two star-crossed lovers

ah sorry Anybody care to continue the story? Okaaaayy um, this is FARRRR from being perfect, so if you would liek to criticize (even without really writing a critic) you're very welcome to ^^ I'd be glad to read them. Oh, and comments would make me happy too :3

First things first, I love the overall effect! *.*
Such a great idea, love the idea of crossing Hetalia and Shakespeare! (probably just because I love them both) XD
Your art style and colouring is to die for! You make each character stand out perfectly and reflect their, but not enough to draw the attention away from Italy and Germany. I love the poses you chose for them all!
Also, the contrast of the colours make this a very overall appealing image.
But, enough rambling, I'll just finish up by saying that I overall love this image! Perhaps you need to make some more Hetalia-Shakespeare crossovers~ *hint hint*

The first thing I have to say is: wow. This is actually an idea I am surprised has never been brought up before; who cares if you were inspired by something else, this is still brilliantly original.
That being said, onto the critique! I absolutly LOVE the details here: the individual flower petals, the folds in the dresses, and especially the cities behind the respective families in all thier glory. I also am very fond of your coloring and the schemes behind them. Expressions are fab.
Now for the critique: Germany's face looks a bit too pointed for this. Far too narrow. Austria's as well. also, Germany's hand looks a bit awkward just kind of up like that; is he trying to catch the flower petals? I can't tell. Roma also looks a bit odd.
Overall, this is a glorious piece. DEFINALY earned a spot in my faves and a spot on my hard drive. <3

I understand that it's way too late to change anything (and I wouldn't really want you to, either, the artwork's too good to change), but maybe Romania or Portugal could be in Hungary's space? Or something like that.

Ooooooh I love it so much and I love Romeo x Juliet. It was the best remake I've ever seen next to the Leonardo Dicaprio version. I liked the way they changed it up a bit but still fits the original plot. I also like how they added William Shakespeare in the show. So yeah great job and can I right a story for this picture please?π

heheh, one of the teachers at my school, who also watches over Anime Club, has this picture printed out and posted on her big wall of Romeo and Juliet pictures. At first, me and my friend didn't recognize anyone in the picture, but then she suddenly saw Austria. After that, we realized that it was all Hetalia and started figuring out who everyone was XD
