This is a poseable art doll of a fantasy creature I'm calling a shadow genet. Genets, if you are unaware, are adorable little creature that resemble a cross between a cat and a weasel and are closely related to mongooses. Mine is a shadow genet because instead of the more typical gray with black spots that spotted genets are known for this fellow is a deep purply blue and black.He is sewn out of several different types of quality faux fur with a simple wire armature underneath to allow for poseablity. His face and paws are sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics.
