I must say that I'm very pleased with the way this guy turned out.About construction;
His face and paws are sculpted from polymer clay with each strand of fur etched in individually (a process taking many hours). Extensive paint work was alto required to achieve the proper coloration and detailing. Finally his face was finished with faux fur and clear plastic whiskers which were glued on a tiny bit at a time. His body is made from faux fur and formed around a basic wire armature which allows him to be poseable. He is also to a certain extent scissor sculpted which means that the fur was cut is such a way to make his form appear more correct. To sum up he is quite intricate and detailed and represents about 20 hours of work.
