I have honestly never seen anything like it. For one, already the title is wonderful, since it just captures all the elements of this photo.
The black and white gives it something old fashioned, almost broken, as if it's a relic out of the time of our grand-parents, out of the Second World War, when one had only potatoes to cook and one had to be glad to even be able to eat at all. I can imagine the woman of the house standing at the stove, and when the meal is all over, hanging that ladle back on the crude construction that in this poverty serves a hanging for such cooking devices. An improvisatory washing line, possibly.
The only thing about this photo that disturbs me a little is that the wall is very grainy, and that like this one can easily lose the focus the actual depicted objects and their shadows deserve.
Other than that, I find the idea is truly great and is proof enough for a genius mind. Musical or not.
