I really like this image, and the design of the kaja, the stance, the mood of the piece, everything.
The only *TINY* critique I would give is to add a little more shadow on the blade-arm -- one that follows the shape of the blade against the curve of his arm.
when I first looked at it, I thought he had cut into his own arm, as the curve at the base of the blade is a pretty close match to the curve and lighting on his bicep.
BUT, that is just me. When I looked more closely, I realized my mistake.
This is a great image.
