Though this painting basically replays a couple themes I've already covered several times,
this might be one of the most personal pieces I've done.
I don't feel comfortable getting into specifics, so I'll just leave it at that.

it's so beautiful and sad and cute and ... the colors are so well chosen... the bloodiest red and the purest white and the deepest black.. it's so beautiful and so sad.

this is such a powerful piece. this piece just feels like the cap on the bottle of it all. you can't tell if the character's sighing in defeat or thinking, "oh fuck..."

i love the way you use acrylics and make them look so rich (for a while i was convinced they were oil paintings)

when i look at this for some reason the word oops comes to mind. i know weird. big fan of black white a red work when its well done. you can also see some of the emotive side of this as well.
