i have a picture just like that, i was in new york and a bunch of shoes were hangin from a phone line so i photed it, but urs is far superior

there was always a paif of shoes up in the powerlines in that country..

I wouldn't doubt the drugs... the crime rate there is horrendous

Actually I think it means someone was shot and killed by a gang. Anyways, very nice shot. I love the sepia toning and the sillouette of the shoes and powerline. It certainly has a very menacing feel to it. Nice work!

Reminds me of my old house...there was a pair of really old running shoes that hung from a powerline I'd pass everytime I left my subdivision. Perhaps I lived near some drug dealers...

Anyway, nice shot! I love the clouds and the overal feeling of the image. Kinda lonely, in a way. Great job.

there are so many pairs of shoes up on the lines around where i live, now i know why.
suprisingly, i've never met a drug dealer. just a bunch of guys who were high, they were near the shoes on the line.
