Description The mirage in the desert haze is haunting them wherever they go, always out of reach, vanishing on approach.
Perhaps the gods really are overseeing their torment...

A 3 minute incomprehensibly tiny landscape sketch.
At least is somewhat of an improvement on my last landscape attempt~
aaand more torment for Morse and his unfortunate companion poor souls

This is really lovely~ I love the sun halos.
I sort of wish it was bigger so I can see your strokes more clearly. Some of the smaller details are lost in the size, but it is lovely.

Remind me of Dune, don't know why.

Dune as in the book? I've heard of it, never read it~

Yes. You MUST read it. I don't want to be a spoiler, but imagine an desert-planet, where water is a very important thing.

twin balls of fire

fly down cross the horizon

to sleep underground

a shadow lingers

intangible yet alive

something haunts their sight

I love the simplicity of the lines and gritty texture of the paper.

A really good shot at landscape considering the time taken too, the minimalist approach does wonders for this one

Thank you! I didn't expect for it to turn into anything in all honesty
Perhaps I can evolve those sand dunes into mountains and then take on complex landscapes

Well sometimes drawing one thing leads you to a completely different thing.

That'd actually sounds really good, looking forward to seeing that!
