This is my first submission to the awesome 100 Creatures Challenge :icon100creatureschallenge: So this is an abatwa, a little person that rides on ants. Abatwa are old Zulu legends. I did some googling to find some pictures of abatwa for inspiration. There are shockingly few. It's sad that there is so sparse of info about cool old legends and myths like this. I also googled zulu women clothing for inspiration(I wanted to make the girl look as athentic as I could) I don't recommend googlnig Zulu clothing. it's........graphic. At least for women. I'll leave it at that. I'm not very good at drawing people that look African. I SWEAR I DONT MEAN THAT IN A RACIST WAY! It's just very hard trying to make faces look like they're from a certain country or something like that...ugh, now I sound racist!!!!!!!!!!!I'll stop babbeling now. Hope you like her. And yes, I drew the any from a picture I found on the internet. So don't sue me.
