I was looking out my window one morning I saw this dove on the ground in front of my house I noticed that she had difficulty flying seem to be a struggle for her to get around so I went down to get her as I knew i could never leave any creature out there helpless I brought her upstairs and confined her to a cage she was limping and her wing was hung to one side so it was hard for her to get around easily I fed her and gave her water and hope for the best as the days went on she appeared to be getting stronger and then the big test came when I saw that she was better I freed her from her cage and she started to fly a little that's when I knew she would then be ok and I was happy my intention was to set her free and let her out the window but I came to love her and couldn't let go for my own selfish reasons and kept her I now let her out of her cage daily and she has the freedom of being out on a daily basis we have bonded and she is contentRelated content

It's better that she stays with you instead of letting her free, she's part of your family now and she doesn't need the harshness of nature outside. some people, are nasty too towards birds and other furry beings

Yes I am glad I kept her. I wish I could keep all animals from all
that can harm them. People like that should be caged.

People like that should be totally caged right up. i feed all the birds that come into the Garden, even the big Seagulls, cause i live near the coast. i hate to see Animals being mistreated or abused, i do hate some cultures and how they treat animals, but then i think of the ones who really care for them, at least not every human hates animals. Have you seen Pebbles? the Cockatoo? on YouTube?

Nah there was no way, I get close to animals the minute I spot them.
So imagine when I found her, there was no way I could have done that.

I cannot stand the thought of any
animal suffering, it breaks my heart.
I have unwatched 3 people on DA
because they had photos of stray
dogs in appalling conditions and made
fun of these poor dogs with the title
they gave to them!
