I'm finally back, again! I brought you sort-off fan art. A friend of mine came up with this awesome idea of doing a Ladybug and Chat noir inspired potions.Which means the next potion I'll make will be the Chat Noir potion that'll go along with this one. ^^
Did you know that trying to draw Ladybug's magic is really hard? I've gone through about 20 different iterations of the liquid. It didn't end up looking like her magic much at all, but eventually one has to move on.
On a more positive note, I'm really pleased with how the scarf came out. I specifically went for a "French" scarf. And I can barely believe I was the one who drew that.
I actually was going to make the background the same as when Ladybug transforms. But I couldn't get it to work, it either was too distracting or didn't have enough contrast with the potion.
So the background remained a bit simpler than initially planned. I wish I could've done the liquid a little different, but overal I'm very pleased with the results.
I seem to keep doing this, being really active for a while and then the activity dropping...
Life just tends to take the reigns away from drawing from time to time. I sadly do not have much control over that.ย

I don't have many friends who watch Miraculous ladybug. So even though they liked the potion. I didn't get much feedback on if they think it fit her well.ย

If people would like to see more potions based of characters of the series I definitely would.
Thing is we haven't seen all that much off the other superheroes. Because well... I think I would keep the potions just for the kwami holders.ย
But we don't actually see the other kwami holders magic all that much. Finding references for these two was already tough, I'm not sure if I can find a decent reference for the others at all.ย

Understandable, Ladybug and Chat Noir are the ones we see the most so it's probably a bit easier to draw stuff based on them compared to the others~
Maybe take inspiration from the kwami instead? I didn't watch the latest season yet so there may be more details about them ahaha

Yea. But I feel like they'd start looking rather same-ish.
Because I'd want to give all of them round bottles to stick with the theme and a small item of clothing of sorts to signify who they are. But honestly I don't even know how I'd keep the liquids unique, I don't want to simply change the colour and leave it at that.
But for most we don't really see their powers much, so I'm not sure how It'd adapt that.

Im finally back too! Exams over at last so I can catch up on my deviations. Holy balls, one of them made 56 pics since I left... That person is a flipping factory XD Its downright comfy to come back and see you only made five while I was gone. Easier to digest you know

The dots on the scarf is something I'm very proud off. And I'm glad to hear you think like minded about the pattern stuff.ย
Like sometimes it's really hard to make it conform to the cloth with larger patterns. But I think it looks much nicer if it does.ย
