Not quite pastel, but sort of pastel.What I found out is that pastel doesn't quite work in my style of potions. You need more contrast for depth. This was quite a "simple" potion. Done within a day of work mostly.Β
Good old round potion bottles are nice to work with, allows for the focus to be mostly on other aspects.Β

XP I think the fact you called this one "pastel potion" instead of the obvious "feather potion" is a tell that this was a practice thingy done for your own sake. Only the artist themselves can get so muddled in a seemingly secondry trait. or maybe im just reading to much into it and the feather is just the primary trait to me. That could be it because I really like it! Its nice and poofy, and I like how it gets less detailed when submerged, as it would irl. The bottle itself looks pretty dull though, literally that is, but you already noticed on your own that you need a bit of contrast so no use pointing that out to you

"Okay, besides that, feathers are known for being really light, to the point where they can easily be blown away. What if the potion made you effectively weightless?"

Only for comics you need to be good at drawing characters and expressions. Neither of which I seem to be able to improve my skill in.Β
