Description
This is something I've wanted to make for a hot minute. But I wanted to put out a decent amount of art for her before I did. While creating Cece I've at pulled from many sources, mainly other fictional characters and all to different extents and for different things. (Also I based this sheet off the one that's been floating around, link here: sta.sh/0y7c30ig6ab)

Mona (WarioWare games): An at first unintentional parallel to Mona when first creating Cece's character and relation to Peppino and the universe. But I've decided to lean into it now. Both being pretty young women admiring the middle age man they happen to know, both riding around on Mopeds and delivering pizza to people. I'm happy to say now that I do like thinking of Cece as the Mona to Peppino's Wario.

Spongebob Squarepants: A young adult, with a big heart and kindness to infectiously spread to others and someone who wants to do their best even in the face of cynicism. Though does have their limits and can put their foot down when necessary as well as generally having a good head on their shoulders. Spongebob was a show I spent so much of my youth watching and is still a show I enjoy now just as much if not more. I'd imagine a lot of parallels with Spongebob and Mr. Krabs with Cece and Peppino. Not some of the more selfish and crueler moments but the morally questionable boss looking out for the overall happy and naïve employee and wanting what's best for them. ^^

Frankie Foster: A hard working young woman who despite getting frustrated and exhausted with her work still does the most and works the hardest. And despite that giving her every reason to be callous, angry, cynical and miserable, she doesn't let those feelings consume her. She'll still have her moments, willing to put her foot down and butting heads on occasion but deciding to instead be empathetic and kind and caring to those around her despite the circumstances and stress makes a uniquely beautiful and real to life character. A lot similarly in common with the Spongebob entry but it still holds validity especially the similarity in age and design.

Fionna Campbell: A spunky tomboy with a flair of femininity still, willing to take on challenges but not being infallible in the face of battle and adversity. Having moments of fear and uncertainty, breaking points of tears and second thoughts but still being willing to step back up and keep going. Fionna has a special place in my heart as making me accept my own weight not being average so it only makes sense that it would loop back around to creating Cece who is chubby but is still considered pretty, cute, and desirable by others in a world where many fat characters in media were relegated to eating/fat jokes or being the comedic friend. And Cece, despite her insecurities is seen as beautiful by the other characters and does get positive reinforcement that she's more than her weight. Thank you, Fionna for helping me and also helping create Cece.

Linkle (The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors): Quite a similar case to Fionna. Linkle is a spunky, optimistic, feminine tomboy, with a heart of gold. Willing to help those she comes into contact with and working hard to help others in the face of adversity. A fighter who does her best and fights with all she's got to save the day. I'd imagine during the actual events of the game Cece would have to face a lot of scary situations but still would do her best in order to help Peppino and save the restaurant. And try to do it with as much optimism as she can a fight her hardest to save those she cares about.

CiCi's Pizza: A restaurant I've been to once or twice in the past and helped me name the stellina I've created here. Other than the namesakes I've been brainstorming other ways to use it for inspiration for her that I haven't quite implemented yet. We'll have to see.
