The idea for this picture came from the same place as the 'String of Fate'.As you can see, on one side of the tree is Kagome's era, and on the other side is Sesshomaru's.

Technically, because Sesshomaru's a demon, wouldn't he still be alive during the time Kagome comes from? It's only a five hundred year difference.

Well, little miss smarty pants, any number of things could have happened where the demons wouldn't be in her era. Sesshy could have died, be in hiding, or somewhere else in the world. Remember, Kagome mentions once or twice that she feels no demon presences in her era. So there.
