Managed to finish this old piece which I started five months ago and left it to rot :') Quite happy with how the perspective turned out, because I did it without reference. Started off with a normal non perspective sketch, drew 3d blocks on it, put the whole thing in perspective and for some reason that actually helped me xDPictures used: For the background and birds, totally lost them because it was five months ago :c not traced

Wow, i'm just speechless. The lights and shadows are perfect placed. The mane is glowing that realistic, i'm just wondering how you did that. What i really don't like, is the grass type, just like single straws. The landscape seems to get more and more empty, the more far it goes. Little stones or bushes would have made the landscape a bit more detailed. The proportions of the horse are that perfect, i can just bow down full of respect. And the markings on the backside of the horse are completing it. The blurring effect of the birds are not too heavy, they are ideal. The moon looks a bit too unrealistic to me. But all in one, this is an amazing drawing, which is now in my favorites.

Okay, first off; the perspective. Damn. A very hard pose to pull off (and I think the elbow might be a tad to big, but not annoyingly so) but you did it fantastically! The birds look very realistic in the piece, as in; their perspective matches the angle very well and ass always the lighting done on them is amazing and correct as well. To continue on lighting; the lighting on the horse is done amazingly as well, from the soft glow from the horizon to the light cast on ther by her mane. Your skies are always so beautifully subtle, yet colorful and realistic; even though not much is going on in the background (as in, just hills) the sky fills it up beautifully and accentuates the piece. The only thing that really irks me is that the flock of birds behind her butt seems to be flying in front of her tail as well xD

Damn, and if you just click done and refresh the page? When I change an image in the edit screen so to speak it doesn't show up either and when I click save it usually shows a picture icon with the title but once I refresh it, it shows the new image. Good luck with it at least!

One can tell you have put your heart and soul into the painting, it was well worth the effort!
I just love everything, the blend of magic and reality, the colours of dusk, the exact right composition where you filled the canvas without it being cluttered.
If you don't say, I never could have guessed the 3D involvement, the dreamhorse looks just like a traditional digital painting. So far I never managed more than cubes and spheres, hats off!

I didn't use real 3D objects, but I drew them in 3D. Like first I drew fllat 2D squared, than I put them in perspective and then I drew the squares in 3D :3 Here are a few steps:
